Sunscreens Does damage to your Skin?

Summer is at the doors and people must have started thinking about what level of sunscreen they should use for this summer.  But, I guess they must be missing a common point that the sun is sun weather it is summer or winter or monsoon and the rays that the sun exposes on us does not vary with these seasons.  So, the answer is obvious that sunscreen is mandatory in all seasons.

Reduces Blotchiness on Face

Due to the implication of rays on the face directly, there arises issues like blotchiness and irritations on the face.  By applying sunscreen regularly to the face, you can prevent that irritation, like feeling and also get rid of acne scars on your face.

Shut Outs Sunburns

Ultra Violet rays spoil our skin with sunburns.  It subjects our skin to bruises and weakens our skin.  Due to the overexposure to the sun rays, skin undergoes swelling, redness, hives, peeling, and itching.  A study done by ‘Annals of Epidemiology’ in August 2008 has proven that repeated occurrences of sunburns could increase the risk of lethal melanoma.  So, application of sunscreen regularly would help you from preventing sunburns.

Protects From Tanning

Tanning is one of the major problems now-a-days.  No matter what level of sunscreen we apply, somehow our body gets tanned.  So, before choosing the sunscreen, make sure to choose the SPF level that works towards preventing tanning.   And depending on the level of sun exposure, choose to apply sunscreen at repeated intervals.  If you have a sensitive skin, use it regularly.

Promotes Healthy Skin

Sunscreen protects important skin proteins, such as collagen, keratin, and elastin from getting damaged.  These proteins help in keeping the skin healthy and smooth.   Use sunscreen which has titanium oxide in it.  Titanium oxide holds on to above essential proteins for the body.
